Love Never Fails

Hello lovelies! I am so sorry that it has been a super long time since I have blogged, but from being locked out of my account and being busy 24/7 it has been hard to write. Well from now on I am going to be trying to write more, but no promises. Today I just wanted to encourage y’all, because I always love encouraging people. If you are feeling down not loved, or don’t have confidence in yourself, this is the perfect blog post for you to read tonight.

1 Corinthians 13 –

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
I have always struggled with body image, thinking I need to look a certain way, dress a certain way, act a certain way etc. But I have been slowly learning that, that those are all very wrong. We don’t need to act, dress, or look a certain way, God has all created us differently and why should we want to change that. We should love ourselves knowing that there is no one out there exactly like you. God loves each and everyone of us very much (I know that you have probably heard this a million times) but it is very true. I always like to tell why I chose the title that I did. I chose “Love Never Fails” because it is true love never fails. God loves all of us just the way that we are, and we should try not to change that. My challenge for everyone this week is to be themselves (doesn’t seem that hard, right?) I hope that this week you will go out of your comfort zone, learn something that you did not know about yourself before.
I hope that everyone has an amazing week! Remember that every day is a fresh start. Please feel free to share this with your loved ones. Also qotd should always put verses at the beginning of my blogs. Also should I start a blog schedule. Comment down below. See you lovelies in another post!
P.S. If you have any blog post ideas please message me in some way or comment below) Sorry for all the questions.

Books Books Books…….

So today is going to be something a little different. As many of you know I love to read, but it is always so difficult to find a book that does not swear or have anything deemed “inappropriate” Until I found out about Livy Jarmusch. So today I am partnering with her and I am going to be doing a review on a very special book. It is called “The Coronation” By Livy Jarmusch! She is releasing the book in 3 days guys! I am so excited for everyone else to read this book!

By far this is one of my favorite books I have ever read. This is going to be a really fun review to write because there were so many good things about the book. There is so much to write about the book but yet some of it is just so hard to put into words, but I will try. The book focuses on a Royal Family and their life. As I read on during the story I felt like I actually knew the characters in real life.During the book there are so many plot twists and it always leaves me on the edge on my seat, you will never see it coming, or expect it. It is so easy to relate to the characters. That is one of my favorite things about books, when you can relate to the character, especially as a teenage girl.  I don’t want to give to much away because I want everyone to be on the edge of the seat like me when reading The Coronation. Overall I would totally recommend purchasing this book when it comes out on July 6, 2017.

So I know that this blog post is a little bit different but I was just so excited to share it with everyone. I don’t know if I should start on the occasion reviewing books. Comment below what you think, and happy fourth of July Eve!

Baptism

This was a very special weekend my cousin because on June 25, 2017 she got baptized. I always love seeing people declaring their love for Christ. I talked to her before had and she was extremely nervous, I couldn’t blame her, but yet she still did it. I hope that throughout her walk with Christ she has a stronger relationship with him. So before they did the baptisms they had a little sermon. (it was really good) He talked about how we are dead before we have Christ and I had never really thought of it like that before. The passage that he read was Ephesians 2:1-10 it says

” As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you use to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might  show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace, you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is a gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ”

No one knows when Christ is coming but we just always need to believe in him. We are to declare publicly our love for Christ. That is what baptism is for and it is a perfect way to show that you are dedicating your love for Christ. Today is a new week, make that change if you have not already, give your life to Christ, it is the best this that will ever happen to you. New day, fresh start.

You Are Priceless

To wind my night down I always love listening to music. Tonight on my playlist Priceless by For King and Country came on. This song really hit home for me. In our society today I feel like it is very hard for some women to accept themselves for who they really are. And yes I can admit, I am one of those women. Society today is a lot about being a certain way, “beauty standards” it is not right at all. Us as young men and women think that we have to look a certain way to be ‘beautiful.” Well let me tell you something, you are priceless. God loves us so so much that he sent his only son to die for our sins that we could maybe one day live with him forever. God has created you in a unique way and none of us are exactly the same. If you don’t know that you are beautiful just believe in God, he will help you in discovering that you are made in the image of God and that you are beautiful. Even though today is a late night post, I don’t care when you are reading this but one thing that I challenge you is to tell the next person you see that the are beautiful, that they are worth more than gold and that they were made for a reason. My prayer for each and everyone one of you is that you will discover exactly that.
(P.S. I would totally go listen to Priceless by For King and Country, BEST SONG EVER!)

Trust

Recently in my life I have had to put a lot of trust in people.  In live we need to learn how to trust others, but more importantly in God. Trust is very difficult for us to do, we always either want to trust no one or everyone. We don’t have to put our full trust in everyone, but it is good to put in some people. Putting your trust in God is the most important thing to do. Knowing that he is in control and knows what is the best for us, is one of the coolest things to think about. I feel like trust is very difficult to show because we want to protect ourselves. This is a really short blog but, I hope that you put your trust in the right people and I hope that they are making good influences on you.

Two posts in one day!?!??

I know I don’t normally do this but here is a second blog post for today! My topic today is “Labels.” I began thinking about this during class today and I thought it would be a really cool blog post. I hate how people think that they can just label you as a word. I don’t know if this is just me but I don’t like being labeled as “Just another Christian Girl” I never just want to be the girl that loves God. I would rather love God and change peoples life/make a difference. This is probably going to be a shorter blog post, but go out of your comfort zone! Don’t be afraid to stand out for just loving God. I would rather have no friends and love God rather than have a lot of friends and no God. What would you choose? Take a moment to just think about that. Leave what you would choose in the comments, and don’t be afraid to be totally honest. Have an amazing day!

(Blog Post inspired by the most amazing friend ever)

Friendship

Sorry I have not written in a while, but this blog post is inspired by one of my closest friends. Even though I have not even known her for one year, we are closer than ever. She is such an amazing godly friend, is always there to put a smile on my face. She is someone that I can go to when I need a shoulder to cry on. This brings me to my main topic on friendship. Throughout this year, yes it has ups and downs with some relationships. In life everyone for some time in their life will have a relationship with someone that feels like you are on a roller coaster. That is just how life goes, life isn’t always going to be perfect. Just know that whenever this may happen to you, God is always there for you. Even though in that tough moment with a friend, or in general, just know that God will always be there for you. ❤
